I'm hosting a dinosaur activity on Saturday. Your ideas sound like lots of fun :)

That is a wonderful idea! I always loved following "treasure maps" when I was a kid, and that is such a creative way to use one :)

Hi: I loved your dinosaur ideas and the lovely choice of dinosaur books. I had an idea I thought I would throw in. A dinosaur treasure map, for the young anthropologist. Right before you want to take your child to the local park/school/your backyard to play with dinosaur eggs, remains, etc., go there and hide the stuff. Then draw a simple map of how to get to the dinosaur site from your house or your child's room. Tell your child you have found a mysterious map with a picture of a dinosaur on it. Hopefully the map will be one the child can follow (maybe with a little help) to the dinosaur site.
