This week’s Etsy Finds are all teen-centric – actually, teen girl-centric, sorry guys. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what to get for a teenager, and I’ve found that Etsy is a fantastic resource for cool, unique, and affordable gifts of all kinds (my own wish list is a mile long!). Any of the goodies in my roundup this week would be equally fitting to give a daughter, granddaughter or for your girl to gift to a friend. What I kept in mind while putting this together is that teen girls are walking a tightrope between wanting to fit in and wanting to set themselves apart. I tried to choose things that are unique and cool, but not completely over the top. Enjoy!

This cute little aqua Hand-knit Key Ring Change Keeper ($10) from Beautiful Bridget, would be a great gift for a new driver. Delicate Bella Feather Earrings ($10) from Air de Sarah. Simple French Loungers ($60) from Go Monkey Design are made of soft cotton ticking, perfect for lazy weekends. This luscious Oreo Caramel Apple ($10) from Dessert Comes First is dipped in caramel and white chocolate and then rolled in Oreo cookie crumbs!

Sun Basil Garden makes tons of wacky soaps, like Rainbow Brite Ruffle Soap ($5.50) and Mr. Boo the Soap Ghost ($4.00). Norma W carries lots of cool knit hats in her shop, like this Red Bunny Hat ($20) and the Earflap Bunny Hat ($20) – and do check out her shop, because she also makes children’s hats & tote bags! Got an ipod? Get a cozy! This little plum Cozy for ipod touch ($12) from The Finicky Stitcher will protect it from dings and scratches. Gift a little angsty art with The Nailbiter 8×10 Print ($12) by Near Modern Disaster.

Rare Turtle carries interesting indie fashions, like the plaid Scout Blouse ($59). These cute little Lavender Scent Pillows ($17 for set of 3) from Lei Li La Loo are hand-stamped on linen and filled with fragrant organic lavender. For the eco-conscious, gift a knit drink cozy so she can say “No, thank you” to paper cup holders: Cable Knit Coffee Cozy in Pretty Pink ($9) from Wayside Violet. The Journey Journal ($12) from Cracked Designs comes with fasteners and string so you can mark your journey on the map, and a nifty pocket to keep memerobilia – and check out their limited editions for Europe and Australia as well. The Honeysuckle Earrings ($32) from Clementine are made of faceted peach moonstone and nuggets of fool’s gold.

The Mimi Cat Acrylic Ring ($12) is one of many pet-themed rings from Qift. Love the appliqued bird on the Handmade Zippered Slouch Bag ($44) from My Studio. I am totally obsessed with artist Danna Ray: the prints for sale in her shop, Groundwork, are printed with high quality pigment-based inks on German etching paper, and all have a beautiful, but slightly eerie quality: Quietly – limited edition print ($30), and Good Company – limited edition print ($30). Suzies Confections makes all sorts of ridiculously good snacks like these Marshmallow Suckers ($10/dozen). The Pleated Plaid Bag ($75) from A and V Designs has an adjustable strap, so it can be worn over the shoulder or across the body like a messenger bag, and it’s roomy enough to tote a few books.
