Let’s cut ourselves a little slack today, okay? Life is big and amazing and scary and unpredictable and full of wonder. It’s not a race to the finish line. There is nothing to prove; there is just the simple fact that we are here. Consider this your permission slip to do nothing – use generously. Because as far as I’m concerned, doing “nothing” is where it’s at: sitting around with family, listening to kids sing silly songs, taking a walk in the woods, really enjoying that piece of chocolate. Don’t rush past it! Is something holding you back? What is it? Is it as important as you think it is?

Amen sista! I took your advice today “used generously” my time by spending quality time with my family, reading two of my favorite books, hanging my favorite wind chimes in the backyard and then planted wildflowers and sunflowers. :0)
