I really enjoyed reading every one of your comments on my 100th Post Giveaway – from swimming in lakes, catching crawdads, making mud pies, hiking, camping, skiing and ice skating to spotting animals, building forts, acting out stories, picking vegetables, flowers and blueberries, and climbing trees; you have reminded me of the many ways we can connect with nature. My own favorites as a kid were playing “Little House on the Prairie”, taking nature walks, dangling my feet in the creek at the barn, pressing flowers, and lying beneath my Grandpa’s tomato plants with his dog, Lady.
