I think it would be right up your alley. It had me dreaming about raising chickens! (I was born and raised in a rural area and totally miss asparagus and stawberries right in my back yard). I saw "Backyard Homestead" book today when I was at a local bookstore. It looked great... now I wish I would've bought it! I also saw another called "The Urban Homesteader" which was more my speed since we live in the city.
